2023 Acura Integra vs 2022 Acura ILX
Serving Hoffman Estates, IL
The Integra made a lasting impression on drivers for years until production went on hiatus. For 2023, Acura reintroduced the sporty Integra as a four-door hatchback. It now serves as the replacement for the outgoing small ILX sedan. If you are in the market for a smaller luxury car, a closer look at the 2023 Integra is an important step.
Performance
Across the 2023 Integra's three trims, one powertrain is offered. This is a 200-horsepower, four-cylinder, 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. It is accompanied by a continuously variable transmission with front-wheel drive. However, the top trim comes with the option for a six-speed manual transmission. The 2022 Acura ILX was also available with one powertrain. Its powertrain was a four-cylinder, 2.4-liter unit that produced 201 horsepower. The system also included front-wheel drive and an automatic dual-clutch, eight-speed transmission.
Appearance
As a reintroduced model, the 2023 Integra has modern styling that is easy to fall in love with. Its look is defined by a powerful hood with a forward-leading stance and strong tapering through the rear. The side accents are beautifully angled, and they flow into the rounded haunches. The headlights are accented by a slash of LED lighting. Both the Integra and the 2022 ILX have a pentagon-like grille. The ILX stood apart in some ways though. Its headlights featured a row of bulbs that are underlined by an LED ribbon. The front fascia was separated into three parts, including a pair of triangular air intakes. Compared to the Integra, the ILX had a taller, more rounded roof and a linear accent through the lower doors.
Features
As luxury cars, you will be impressed by the features offered in both of these Acura models. Both the ILX and the Integra come with a navigation system, connected services, upgraded leather material, Apple CarPlay with Android Auto, a smart selection of advanced safety equipment, heated front seats, a two-zone climate control system, Bluetooth, and more. The 2023 Integra is also offered with a wireless charging pad, wireless connections for the smart device apps, remote vehicle monitoring, memory settings for the driver's seat, simulated suede upholstery, and more.
